We believe that early learning experiences are a key component in school readiness. Our aim is to foster creativity, curiosity, and love of learning. We strive to provide meaningful learning experiences that coincide with fun and friendship!
The program integrates instruction across developmental domains and early learning disciplines.
Our lesson plans are written with a heavy focus on music, movement, and art. We believe that a child's play is their work, so we incorporate free play in our classrooms every day.

ABOUT GRACEKIDS MOTHER'S DAY OUT
GraceKids MDO is a program for children ages 6 months to 4 years old. We register students based on their age as of September 1st of the school year we are registering for. We offer small class sizes with excellent teacher-student ratios and 2 teachers in each classroom.
Our program is open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
2024-2025 Registration
Public registration is open. You can register at anytime during school hours, email mothersdayout@gpcwoodlands.org to schedule a time. Public registration will be in person. In order to secure a spot, families should bring:
- A smartphone or other device to sign up for our online preschool management app "Brightwheel"
- A physical or digital copy of immunizations.
- The 160.00 registration fee is payable by check or cash.
We currently have openings for 2024/2025 in all classes except for the infant class (less than 1 year). (Updated 3/25/2024)

What is an MDO Program?
MDO Stands for Mothers’ Day Out. MDO provides parents with an opportunity for their children to engage in enriching activities while they take some time for themselves. It is a child enrichment program focused on holistic play based learning and socialization for young children ages 6 months - Pre-Kindergarten. It involves structured instruction time, play based centers, outdoor time, child led art activities, and hands on sensory/science discovery. We also include a once weekly short chapel as a way to teach our students about how much God loves us and the ways we show love for each other in turn. Our goal is to create a nurturing environment for children to learn, play, and grow.
When does MDO happen?
MDO is a three day a week program. We run Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays from 9AM-1PM during the school year (Late August-Mid May) . Our calendar closely follows the calendar of our local school district (CISD).
Where is your MDO program?
Our program is located in the Woodlands area, at Grace Presbyterian Church in our Education building.
How will I know what’s going on each day?
We use an app called Brightwheel to stay in touch with parent’s during the day. Teachers upload photos and information about daily activities for parents to see. Parents are also able to message teachers during the school day to ask any questions or check in.
